Music: Ryan Cowburn is 26 and has been playing the drums for 10 years. His favourite artists include Interpol, Radiohead, Tapes N Tapes and The Shins. Ryan’s playing style is often reminiscent of an orc invasion during a thunderstorm. He can play the drums with his eyes shut, and frequently does. He is known for channelling all his frustration and personal problems into his drumming, leaving him a remarkably chilled out man away from the kit.

Recognisability: Ryan is usually the one at the back of the stage pounding away intensely and regretting having written such a tiring and complex drum part on just about every song in the set. He also brings a manly element to the band, providing a much needed balance to the girly boys with guitars. Look out for his trademark cowbell.
